    Dear Mariana Domingue,

Just to make sure I understand what you’re looking for, would you like to combine Chats and Meeting chats, as shown in the screenshot, so that messages from your regular conversations and meeting conversations can all be viewed in the same place without having to switch between the two?

If that is what you mean, I understand how everything in one place having would make it much easier to keep track of your conversations. Unfortunately, these chat types are separated by design in the current Teams experience, so they cannot be combined into a single view in that way.

I understand this may not be the experience you were hoping for. In this case, I sincerely recommend you go to Feedback community to vote this similar feedback: (find out similar feedback, if not provide the feedback forum link Ideas · Community). Hi @Mariana Domingues

This changed with a Teams update earlier this year. Meeting chats now get moved into their own section by default, which is why they've vanished from your main list. The good news is it's a single toggle to put them back.

    1. In Teams, click the three dots at the top right > Settings.
    2. Go to Chats and channels.
    3. Turn off "Show meeting chats in their own section".
    4. Back in your chat list, check the filter chips at the top. If "Chats" or "Meeting chats" is highlighted, click it once to clear it, so no filter is active.

Your meeting chats and regular chats then appear together in one list, sorted by most recent, like before.

If you don't see that toggle in your Settings, let me know which Teams version you're on (Settings > About) and whether it's the desktop app, web or mobile. Rollout timing varies, and there's a different place to fix it on older builds.

If this helped, please click Accept Answer so others missing their meeting chats can find it.

To show regular chats and meeting chats together again in Teams:

    1. Open Chat.
    2. At the top of the chat list, check whether a filter such as Chats or Meeting chats is selected.
    3. If Chats or Meeting chats is highlighted, select it again to turn that filter off.
      • When no filter is active, Teams shows chats in one combined list.

If meeting chats are still separated, turn off the separate meeting chat section:

    1. In the chat list, select More list options > Customize view.
    2. In Chats and channels, turn Show meeting chats in their own section off.

Teams also supports a combined view for chats and channels:

    1. In the chat list, select More list option button.
    2. Select Customize view.
    3. In Chats and channels, use Viewing chats and channels to switch to combined view.

    Notes:

    • Teams shows chats and channels in the combined list view by default.
    • To view all meeting chats in one place, Teams also has a Meeting chats section at the top of the chat list, which can be turned on or off in Customize view.
    • After a meeting ends, the meeting chat appears in Chat with the same title as the meeting and a Calendar icon.
