Hello,

I would like to inquire whether it is possible for a registered attendee's colleague to attend this event in their place if the original registrant is no longer able to participate.

If substitutions are permitted, could you please advise on the process and any information required to update the registration?

Based on the information available, whether a colleague may attend in place of the original registrant depends on the event organizer's registration policy. At this time, Microsoft Teams does not provide a documented method for attendees to directly transfer or modify an existing event registration.

In most cases, the recommended approach is for the original registrant to cancel their registration, if that option is available, and for the colleague to register separately using their own name and email address. If the event uses manual registration approval, the organizer will need to review and approve the new registration request. Organizers can manage attendee registrations, including approving or declining requests, through Microsoft Teams.

If registration has already closed or the event has reached its capacity, I recommend contacting the event organizer directly and providing the following details:

Original registrant's full name and email address
Substitute attendee's full name and email address
Organization and job title (if requested during registration)
Any registration confirmation or reference number

I understand that I may need to contact the event organizer directly. However, I could not find any contact details for the organizer on the event page or in the registration information.

Could you please advise how I can get in touch with the event organizer? Is there an email address, phone number, contact form, or support channel available?

If the organizer’s contact details are not displayed on the event page, I recommend checking the original registration confirmation email and any calendar invitation you received. In some cases, you may be able to reply directly to these messages to reach the event team.

You can also review the website, social media post, newsletter, or other source where the event was originally announced, as these may contain a contact form, support email address, or other contact information for the organizing organization.

According to the Microsoft Teams Event Registration Site Terms of Service, hosted events are managed by the event host, who is responsible for attendee communications and event-related matters. Microsoft does not provide a universal contact channel for individual event organizers.

I have already checked the registration confirmation email and the calendar invitation. Unfortunately, neither of them contains any contact information, support email address, phone number, or organizer details.

Since there is no contact information available in the registration materials, could you please advise whether there is any Microsoft Events support team or alternative channel that can help me get in touch with the organizer of the event Becoming a Frontier Firm – A Transformation Journey Enabled by Copilot & Agents?

While I have not been able to locate a dedicated support channel or organizer contact for the event "Becoming a Frontier Firm – A Transformation Journey Enabled by Copilot & Agents", I did notice that the event landing page includes links to the event's social media channels.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you should find links to the event's Facebook, X, and LinkedIn accounts. Since no direct support email or organizer contact details appear to be publicly available, you may wish to try contacting the event team through their X account and explain your situation. In some cases, social media channels can help route inquiries to the appropriate event organizers.

I realize this is not an ideal solution, and I'm sorry that I wasn't able to find a more direct contact method for you. However, given the limited contact information available, this may be the most effective way to reach someone associated with the event.
