Accessing Microsoft Teams using organizational or personal credentials
Based on my review of similar issues, I’ve put together a few recommended steps below. You can try these steps to see if they help resolve the issue.
1.Check the account status and license assignment
Please ask your IT administrator to verify in the Microsoft 365 admin center that your account is still active and that you have a valid Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license with Microsoft Teams included and enabled.
For your reference: Assign or unassign licenses for users in the Microsoft 365 admin center - Microsoft 365 admin | Mic…
Sign-in and activation problems can occur when the subscription is not active or the account is not correctly associated, in which case the admin should review the account and licensing status.
2.Check whether Microsoft Information Protection API is enabled in Entra ID
A similar case involving the “Access denied for the resource” error was resolved after the tenant administrator enabled the Microsoft Information Protection API enterprise application for user sign-in.
Please ask your IT administrator to check whether the Microsoft Information Protection API is enabled in the Microsoft Entra admin center by following these steps:
-Go to Enterprise applications.
-Search for Microsoft Information Protection API.
-Confirm the application ID is 40775b29-2688-46b6-a3b5-b256bd04df9f.
-Click and choose Properties under Manage.
-Set Enabled for users to sign in? to Yes, then select Save.
After saving the change, please completely close and reopen Teams, then try signing in again.
3.If the issue persists after trying the steps above, please ask your IT administrator to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.
The IT administrator can submit a support request through the Microsoft 365 admin center:
-Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
-Select the Help & support (headset) icon.
-Turn off Support Assistant if it is enabled.
-Type contact support in the search box.
-Select Contact support, then choose Phone or Email to create a support request.

I hope this helps.
