Emails in Inbox Gone + Receiving Unsolicited Emails + Not Receiving My Normal Emails

Beginning on the evening of 11/2/26:

On the web:

• my inbox showed over 1,000 new emails in it.
  • They appeared to be from email addresses of various sites - none of which I subscribed to - and in different languages as well as English.
• the emails that were in my inbox disappeared.
• most of the emails that I AM subscribed to are or no longer coming into my inbox
• I can send and receive emails

On my iphone:

• same experience but it does not currently mirror what is happening on the web.
• not receiving many emails for the most part - maybe one here and one there.

Please advise.
