This usually means the chats are still being moved to the updated Copilot experience.
Try these steps:
- Check that the same personal sign-in is being used as before.
- If the previous sign-in was a personal Microsoft account, sign in with that same account.
- If the previous sign-in was Google or Apple, use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple on the sign-in page.
- Restart Copilot.
- In the app, quit and reopen it.
- On the web, refresh the page.
- Look for any in-app message.
- If content is still being moved, there may be a link to access existing chats temporarily.
- Wait and check again later.
- The move can take time depending on the amount and type of content.
If chats show as “coming soon”, the account has already moved to the updated app, but the chats and content are still on the way. Copilot can still be used while the move finishes.
If different devices show different chats, make sure the same personal account is signed in on each device, then restart Copilot on each device and allow more time for sync to complete.
If Projects seem missing, they were renamed to Notebooks in the updated Copilot app.
If the issue continues, report it from the Copilot app:
- Select the ellipsis (…) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Send feedback.
- Select Report a problem.
- Include when it started, the device and operating system, and a screenshot.
