For Outlook.com, check these areas in order:

    1. Check Junk Email and move any valid messages back:
      • If a message is in Junk Email, select it and choose Report > Not junk.
      • Messages in Junk Email are automatically removed after 30 days and are not recoverable.
    2. Check the Other tab if Focused Inbox is enabled:
      • Messages may be delivered there instead of the main Inbox.
      • If found there by mistake, select the message and choose Move to > Move to Focused inbox.
    3. Check Outlook.com settings that can hide or redirect mail:
      • Review Junk Email settings and the Junk Email folder.
      • Check whether email forwarding is enabled.
      • Check whether any email rules are moving or hiding messages.
      • Make sure the message list is sorted correctly: Filter > Sort > Date.
    4. If the issue happens with mail from a specific sender:
      • Ask the sender to review Sender Support in Outlook.com.
    5. If Outlook is being accessed through another mail app:
      • Another email app can incorrectly mark messages as junk.
      • Using a Microsoft app such as Mail for Windows 10 or Outlook for Windows can help avoid that.
    6. If Outlook.com is opened in Firefox and the inbox is not loading correctly:
      • Some Firefox add-ons can interfere with inbox loading. Disable or remove those add-ons and test again.

If these checks do not resolve it, use Outlook.com support from the Help menu and the Still need help? option.
