    Hi éryam faubert,

Just to narrow this down, are you still able to sign in to Windows normally, and does the admin password prompt only appear when you try to launch the game? If so, does the prompt show your current account or the name/email address of another account?

If you normally sign in with a PIN, keep in mind that your PIN and account password are separate. You can check Sign-in options on the sign-in screen to see whether a PIN recovery option is available.

If the administrator account belongs to someone else, such as a family member or whoever originally set up the PC, you’ll need that person to authorize the request. I’d also avoid third-party password removal or bypass tools, since they could put your account or files at risk.

If none of the recovery options in the AI Answer work and there isn’t another administrator account you can access, resetting Windows may be the remaining option. Before doing that, I’d recommend backing up any files you can still access and making sure you have your BitLocker recovery key if device encryption is enabled.

Hopefully one of the options above helps, but if you’re still stuck, let me know what you see when the admin password prompt comes up and I’ll help you from there.

If this is a Windows local administrator account password, these are the supported options:

    1. From the Windows sign-in screen, select the password entry button.
    2. Select OK > Reset password.
    3. Answer the security questions set up for that account.

If already signed in to that local account:

    1. Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
    2. Select Password > Change.
    3. If the password was forgotten, select I forgot my password and follow the prompts.

If there is another administrator account on the same PC:

    1. Open Computer Management.
    2. Go to Local Users and Groups > Users.
    3. Right-click the account.
    4. Select Set Password... and enter a new password.

Important: if there is no other administrator account available and the password cannot be reset with the sign-in screen options, the supported path is to reset the Windows device. Microsoft support cannot retrieve or bypass a lost or forgotten password.

If this is a Microsoft account used to sign in, use the account recovery flow:

    1. Select Recover your account.
    2. Enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name used to sign in.
    3. Choose where to receive the security code.
    4. Enter the code.
    5. Create a new password.

If the correct password stopped working, use the Sign-in Helper tool.
