Hello Scott Cadillac
Thank you for confirming that your account currently shows 0.1 GB used out of 100 GB. In that case, you are clearly below the displayed limit, and the earlier storage-cleanup steps are no longer relevant.
Because the warning emails still refer to a 5 GB limit even though the purchased 100 GB allowance is visible, this may indicate that the notifications are associated with another Microsoft account or that the account’s quota information is inconsistent on Microsoft’s back end.
Please first check the exact address shown in the To field of the warning email and confirm that it belongs to the same Microsoft account on which the 100 GB subscription appears.
If it is the same account, this will need to be reviewed by Microsoft Support. Community contributors cannot access account records, subscription entitlements, notification systems, or reset a storage status from the back end. Here is how to contact them:
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.
- Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
- In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
- In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
- Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
- You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.
When contact, ask the agent to verify:
- Which Microsoft account is generating the 5 GB warning
- Whether the 100 GB subscription is attached to that same account
- Whether an outdated quota or frozen-status flag remains on the account
- Whether the repeated storage notifications can be escalated for back-end review
Before contacting support, it may also help to save screenshots showing 0.1 GB / 100 GB and the warning that refers to 5 GB, with personal information redacted.
I hope this help you get to the right support,
have a nice day.
