D365 F&O Development & Training Environment

Dear Microsoft Team,

We are looking to establish a hands-on D365 Finance & Operations development and training environment for 5–10 consultants, covering:

• X++ development and customisation
• New screens/forms and screen-level modifications
• Extensions and integrations
• Reports and print-output customisation
• Package development and deployment
• Testing and validation of deployed solutions

The key expectation is an end-to-end experience:

Develop → Build → Deploy → Test/Validate → Refine

Consultants should therefore be able to develop and deploy a solution, access the resulting functionality in D365 F&O, and validate/test the outcome.

Currently, the only D365 F&O licence/environment available to us is a D365 Finance & Operations sandbox application/environment.

We would appreciate Microsoft’s recommendation on the best and most cost-effective supported option, including the required environment, licences and prerequisites, how our existing sandbox can be leveraged, and indicative costs for 1, 5 and 10 consultants.
