I have had my email account for over 25 years and Microsoft have locked me out and there seems to be no way to speak to a real actual person 😡 I cannot cancel my 365 subscription because guess what you have to be able to log in to cancel subscription. The self help goes around and round in circles the online requests come back with no answers. It is absolutely disgusting that it is impossible to talk to a real person I now cannot access 20 years worth of email correspondence or my 365 documents for a subscription I pay a fee for it is not good enough. I reluctantly had to open another email address to try another way of retrieving account with no luck whatsoever 🤯

    Hello Em,

I’m sorry you’re having such a difficult time accessing an account containing many years of emails and documents. Since you specifically want to speak with a real support person and have already tried the online recovery options, I would suggest going directly through Microsoft Support:

    • Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support
    • In the search bar provided on the page, type "my account was blocked" and press Enter.
    • Click on Ask Our Support Assistant
    • When the chat box appears, type " I want to talk to Live chat agent"
    • After that, click Contact support
    • When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".
    • For the category, choose "Manage account security".
    • Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".
    • Explain your situation clearly: Be concise but provide all the relevant details.
