Request to restore accidentally removed Hotmail alias

My long-standing Hotmail address was accidentally removed from my Microsoft account two weeks ago.

I still have full access to my Microsoft account and all previous emails, but my original Hotmail address is no longer associated with the account, and I cannot receive new emails sent to it.

I need my original Hotmail address reinstated as my primary alias. I can verify account ownership and provide any required information privately.

Please advise how I can have this issue reviewed by the appropriate Microsoft account support team.

As this is a user to user community forum, I'm afraid there's no way to send details privately, and Microsoft Support may not see your message here.

Regarding your request, Microsoft's policy states that once a Hotmail alias is removed from a Microsoft account, it is permanent and cannot be added back. I'm sorry.
