My grandson recently moved my OneDrive from C: drive to D: drive to have more space, but when I go to D: drive I have duplicate folders and I think it's causing problems in syncing the files, because it's saying they're too big. Is there a tech that can log into my computer that could straighten things out faster than me? I'm old and know just a little to be dangerous. Thanks for all the help you can give me.

    Hi @Shirley Tyson

I understand why you would prefer someone to look at the computer directly. Please do not delete any of the duplicate folders yet, because one may contain files that have not finished syncing.

First, sign in to OneDrive on the web and confirm that your important files are there. The supported method for moving OneDrive to another drive is to unlink OneDrive, move the folder, and then link it again using the new location.

Since sorting out duplicate folders remotely is beyond what someone in this public forum can safely do, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support through the official support page and explaining that OneDrive was moved from C: to D: and now shows duplicate folders and a file-size error. They can advise what support options are available for your computer.

    Contact Microsoft Support

For your safety, only allow access through official Microsoft Support, and do not accept unsolicited calls offering to fix the computer.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors cannot access accounts or Microsoft’s back-end systems. We can only provide technical guidance on reported incidents, requests and ideas

I hope this helps, please feel free to give me any updates
