Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello ST Yap,
Thank you for explaining your learning goal.
To sign up for and practice with Power Automate cloud flows, you need a Microsoft work or school account. A Microsoft 365 Personal subscription uses a personal Microsoft account, so it does not provide the organizational account required to register for Power Automate.
With your current personal account, you can still study Power Automate through Microsoft Learn and other training resources.
However, practical exercises that require access to the Power Automate portal, environments, and cloud flows will require a work or school account. If you would like to create your own learning environment, you can review the available Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions and trial options here: Microsoft 365 Business Plans and Pricing
Setting up an eligible Microsoft 365 Business trial creates an organizational tenant and a work account, usually with an address ending in onmicrosoft.com. You can then use that work account to review the available Power Automate plans and select the Power Automate free trial, if available: Power Automate Pricing
Please note that the Power Automate trial still requires a work or school account. Availability and included features can vary, so please review the plan details carefully before registering.
Please also review the trial terms, payment requirements, and renewal date. If you do not intend to continue with a paid subscription, remember to cancel the trial or turn off recurring billing before the renewal date to avoid unintended charges.
I hope this helps clarify the available options for beginning your Power Automate learning journey.
Kind regards,
