Office 365 apps opens only in safe mode; Onedrive does not open (loading for ever);

Word, Excel en Powerpoint opens only in safemode. In normal mode they all crash. OneDrive does not sychronize with desktop. If I re-install OneDrive and sign in, OneDrive keeps loading (it only shows the load circel).

First I tried the "resolve" solution without result. After that I re-installed office 365. Again without any result.

On the phone everything works fine.

Thank you for your replies

    An Issue we found is:

Microsoft 365 Personal on Windows 11. We've had issues with multiple Microsoft 365 components and Microsoft 365 has now been completely reinstalled. The current, reproducible problem is in Word: Word stays open normally with a blank document but crashes as soon as I open an existing local .docx file. This happens with different documents. By the way, Excel and PowerPoint also crash in normal mode after opening a file.

In Windows Event Viewer, there is an Application Error where Word crashes in mso20win32client.dll, with exception code 0x1e2e3511. Microsoft 365/Word is 64-bit, build 16.0.20430.20146.

When checking the installed Office files, we found two versions of mso20win32client.dll: the 64-bit version is 16.0.20430.20032 and the 32-bit version is 16.0.20430.20146.

I’d like a Microsoft technician to look into whether this is an Office/Click-to-Run, DLL, rendering, or other Microsoft 365 installation issue.

    Hello,

Check whether any COM Add-ins are the cause of the issue.

    • Open Excel or Word, go to File > Options > Add-ins.
    • Click COM Add-ins and select 'Go'.
    • Disable/remove all the add-ins from the list, and then restart the Office applications on your device.

If you are still having issues and you've already reinstalled the Office applications on your Windows device,

Create a new Windows Profile and test to see if OneDrive and Office apps work normally on that profile:

    1. Click Windows + R key, type netplwiz and click ok.
    2. Select Add > Sign in without a Microsoft Account (Not recommended)
    3. Temporarily create a new local user account.
    4. Once created, sign out and sign in to the new local user profile created.
    5. Launch OneDrive and Office applications there.
    6. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    7. Check whether you can work normally on the local user profile.

If everything works well on the local user profile, let me know.
