Combine two email accounts to download into only one

I was able in the past to combine my two email accounts to download into only one of the two email inboxes. I seem to be unable to do so now. Can someone instruct me on how to do so? I find it a pain to have to check both email address inboxes. I was accustomed to opening my preferred inbox and finding messages to both addresses in it.

In Classic Outlook you could do this with multiple POP accounts that delivered mail to a single PST. New Outlook for Windows doesn't have this.

But, Microsoft is rolling out a "Unified Inbox" for New Outlook for Windows. (I have not gotten it yet).

    Hi, @Barbara Maitland

Outlook New for Windows lets you add multiple email accounts, but it does not currently provide a single unified Inbox for all of them. The accounts remain separate in the folder pane.

If you were previously having messages sent to one preferred Inbox, you may have been using automatic email forwarding instead.

    To help narrow this down:

    1. What are the two email account types: for example, Outlook.com/Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, or something else?
    2. Do you want both accounts to remain separate but show their messages together, or do you want mail received by the second address automatically forwarded to your preferred address?

    Thanks!
