Unable to delete contacts in Outlook

I have tried over and over to delete contacts in Outlook, but there is a bug that is preventing me from doing that. Please assist with troubleshooting this. Thanks.

    How exactly did you try to delete it? Please walk me through the steps.

    Is your account personal (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com) or for work/school?

    What exactly happens when you try to delete the contact? Does the option become unavailable, or does an error message appear?

    Are you trying to delete just one contact, or multiple contacts at once?
