I am locked out of my PC, and nothing that I do solves the issue. I cannot verify my account, because my initial email address is no longer valid. I need my account to reflect my current email address

I am locked out of my PC, and nothing that I do solves the issue. I cannot verify my account, because my initial email address is no longer valid. I need my account to reflect my current email address - and any validation requests to be sent accordingly, not to Moderator note: PIi ******@carolina.rr.com, which has been disabled.

    Welcome Frank Sabella,

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

I understand you're unable to sign in because the verification request is being sent to an email address you can no longer access.

Before continue, could you confirm whether you still know the password for your Microsoft account, and whether you see “I don't have any of these” when asked to verify your identity?

In the meantime, if you know the password but no longer have access to any of the security information shown:

    • Start signing in to your Microsoft account from another device or browser.
    • When you reach “Verify your identity”, select “I don't have any of these”.
    • Follow the prompts to replace the security information with an email address you can currently access.

Please note that Microsoft states that after all security information is replaced, there can be a 30-day waiting period before you can sign in.

    Looking forward to your update.
