trying to reset my password and you are forcing me to wait 24 hours? What is that all about????

It's not for this account as I cannot log in with the other account for the next 24 hours. The account you have forcible blocked is:

******@gmail.com

Sort it out so he can login in and do his work please.

You are stopping his for working.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Learn Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

That 24-hour wait usually kicks in as a security measure after multiple password reset attempts or suspicious activity. It's Microsoft’s way of making sure it's really you trying to access the account, and not someone else trying to break in. I know it can feel inconvenient, but it’s in place to help keep your account safe.

If you already tried after 24 hours and the issue still persists, please try the following:

    • If you have any, please disable VPNs, DNS-changing settings, or third-party antivirus software that might have similar features.
    • Use the same device, browser, and Wi-Fi/internet source you normally use when signing in.

If the issue still persists, you can try unblocking your Microsoft account, you can try using the Microsoft Sign-in Helper tool to help you through the sign-in process.

If the issue persists, please let me know and I’ll guide you step by step on how to reach Microsoft Support via live chat.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
