WHY WHY WHY is OUTLOOK CHANGING ALL MY FONTS when receiving emails???? WHAT CAN I DO????  NOW, it has started to SEND all my emails in APTOS 12pt!!

GRRR!!!!!! It is creating line spaces between every line, making emails 10 times LONGER, AND changing the font on EVERY email to APTOS in 12 point font size!!! GRRR!!! Way too large, and I HATE APTOS!!!

I've tried EVERYTHING Microsoft has suggested....still doing the DOUBLE spacing AND font changes. I can 'accept' the font changes happening at this point....I've spent more than 10 hours trying to correct this. I just can't consume my day 'correcting' it. I REALLY can't continue to send emails with the LINE SPACING adding BEFORE AND AFTER each/every paragraph.

Do any REAL PEOPLE have a suggestion that may work?

I’ve tried MULTIPLE suggestions….. Safe Mode, changing in Contacts (everything is set up correctly.)

    Hi @Jane Dahl

I understand how frustrating this must be, especially after spending significant time troubleshooting the issue and finding that it continues to affect both incoming and outgoing emails.

Based on my research, other users have experienced similar behavior where Outlook unexpectedly displayed messages in Aptos with excessive spacing between lines and paragraphs. In some cases, the issue was related to the Immersive Reader feature being enabled.

You may find these discussions helpful for reference:

I understand you've already spent considerable time troubleshooting this issue. To avoid suggesting steps you've already completed, could you please confirm whether you've also tried the following?

-Checking whether Immersive Reader is enabled and, if so, disabling it and testing again.

-Changing the default email font and style settings to your preferred font. For guidance, please refer to Change the default font or text color for email messages in Outlook | Microsoft Support

-Creating a new Outlook profile and testing whether the behavior occurs there as well.

If you have already completed all of the above and the issue still persists, could you please provide:

-Your Outlook version and build number (File > Office Account > About Outlook).

-Whether the same behavior occurs when accessing your mailbox through Outlook on the web.

-A screenshot showing the spacing issue (with any personal or organizational information removed).

Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to your update.
