My Outlook.com account is returning '550 5.7.520 Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam. AS (4810)'

This started after I secured my account following a hack. Even emails sent to myself are being blocked. Please review whether my account has an outbound spam restriction and advise how to restore normal sending.

    Welcome David Hadley,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Q&A. I'm sorry your account was hacked, and I understand how frustrating it is that you still can't send email after securing it.

The error "550 5.7.520 … AS (4810)" means Outlook.com is treating your outgoing messages as spam. After an account is hacked, this often happens because spam was sent from the account. Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.

    First, could you tell me:

    • About when was the account hacked, and when did you change your password?
    • Does the error appear in Outlook on the web (outlook.live.com) as well as the Outlook app or your phone?
    • Did you get any message or banner in Outlook.com saying your account is blocked or limited?

    Looking forward to your update.
