I deleted some contacts in Outlook last week and now need to recover a contact, but I don't see any of the deleted contacts in "Deleted Items"

If the contact is not in Deleted Items, recover it from the Recoverable area in Outlook on the web or Outlook.com:

    1. Open People from the navigation pane.
    2. Select Deleted.
    3. At the top of the list, select Recover deleted.
    4. Select the contact to recover, then select Restore.

Recovered contacts are restored to their original folder when possible. If the original folder no longer exists, they are restored to the default Contacts folder.

If the contact still does not appear in People > Deleted, try this troubleshooting path:

    1. Refresh the page.
    2. Go to Mail from the navigation pane.
    3. Open Deleted Items.
    4. Find the item, right-click it, and select Restore.

If the contact was only recently deleted last week, these are the supported recovery locations to check first.
