I own Office Home & Business 2021 (Order #1006353832). The product is redeemed and appears in my Microsoft account under Services & Subscriptions, showing it was added on September 9, 2022. I have used Office successfully since then. On October 23, 2026, Office on my Mac suddenly stopped activating and now reports "License not activated" and "No license found." I ran the Microsoft License Removal Tool and reinstalled Office from my Microsoft account, but the problem remains. My Microsoft account is ******@msn.com. Please verify the license entitlement and activation status for my Office Home & Business 2021 license.

Please uninstall your Office apps. To uninstall, you move all Office apps, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams to trash bin.

Then install this latest version: https://res.public.onecdn.static.microsoft/mro1cdnstorage/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_365_and_Office_16.114.26102720_BusinessPro_Installer.pkg

See if it works.

I uninstalled Office apps, and install the lates version that you provided, but I still can't use it. How can I make it work?

Well, let's try the old way then.

Please uninstall your Office apps. To uninstall, you move all Office apps, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams to trash bin.

Then install this slightly older version 16.114: https://res.public.onecdn.static.microsoft/mro1cdnstorage/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_365_and_Office_16.114.26101123_BusinessPro_Installer.pkg?atp=ets

After that, open any Office app, such as Word or Excel. From the top menu, select Help > Check for Updates. When Microsoft AutoUpdate opens, uncheck Automatically keep Microsoft apps up to date, then confirm by clicking Turn Off.

That should work. If for any reason it doesn't, open one of the apps, for example, Excel > About Microsoft Excel > More Info > Refresh License.

Hi Megeumi, since your Office was working fine for years and suddenly stopped activating, I would first double-check that you're signing in with the same Microsoft account where the license was originally redeemed.

You can also open Word, go to Help and check the activation status from there. Sometimes signing out of all Office apps and signing back in with the correct account can help.

If it still shows the same error, I'd suggest contacting Microsoft Support directly and asking them to check the license status using your order details. They should be able to confirm whether there's an issue with the license itself or the activation.
