Hi everyone! I’m curious to know how you all use Microsoft Teams in your daily work. What features have helped you improve productivity, save time, or collaborate more effectively? Are there any hidden features or useful tips you think every Teams user should know about? I’d love to hear your recommendations!

    Hello Mohammad Azeemullah Khan,

One Microsoft Teams feature I think more people should know about is Loop components in Teams chats.

Loop components allow you and other people in a chat to collaborate on content directly within the Teams conversation. Instead of sending information in separate messages and then trying to keep track of everyone's replies, you can add a shared component such as a table, checklist, or paragraph. Everyone in the chat can edit the same component inline, and the changes are reflected as people work on it.

For example, after a team meeting, you could add a checklist to the chat to keep track of the next steps:

    • Review the meeting notes
    • Confirm the outstanding items
    • Complete assigned tasks
    • Update the team when each item is finished

Rather than having each person post a separate update in the chat, team members can update the shared Loop component itself. This can be particularly useful for tracking next steps, collecting information, or co-authoring content while keeping the discussion in one place.

Another useful feature is @mentions within a Loop component. If you need a particular person's input, you can @mention them inside the component, and they will receive a notification in their Teams activity feed that takes them back to the component.

You can also pin the Teams message containing the Loop component, which can make an important checklist or shared piece of information easier to return to later.

And if the same component needs to be referenced somewhere else, Teams allows you to copy its link and share it in another chat or channel. The component continues to display the latest updates, regardless of where people are editing it.

I think this is especially helpful for teams that frequently use chat to coordinate work. Instead of information being scattered across many individual messages, a Loop component gives everyone a shared place to contribute and keep the content updated.

For more information, please refer to: Send a Loop component in Microsoft Teams chats

Hope you find this feature useful, and I’d also be interested to hear which Teams features have made the biggest difference in your daily work!

I am looking forward to your response!
