I have noticed my email address is not sending or receiving emails. Can this please be investigated?

Thank you!

For Outlook.com, these are the supported checks to investigate an address that cannot send or receive mail:

    1. Check mailbox and cloud storage capacity. If Microsoft cloud storage is full, mail cannot be sent or received, and messages sent during that time are bounced back and are unrecoverable.
    2. Check whether the password was changed recently. If so, update the account password in Outlook.com.
    3. Check whether the account is temporarily blocked because of unusual sign-in activity, and use the Outlook.com account unblock process if needed.
    4. If sign-in is failing, use the Microsoft account sign-in helper.
    5. For sending issues:
      • Make sure attachments are not larger than 25 MB.
      • If a non-delivery receipt was received, review the reason in that message. Common causes include an invalid recipient address, recipient mailbox full, recipient server issues, or spam filtering.
      • If a signature is configured, remove it and try sending again.
      • Add recipients to Contacts.
      • Ask the recipient to add the address to their safe senders list.
      • New Outlook.com accounts can have a temporary low sending quota until credibility is established.
    6. For receiving issues:
      • Check the Other tab and any filters.
      • Check the Junk Email folder and Junk Email settings. If a message was marked as junk incorrectly, right-click it and select Mark as not junk.
      • Restore sorting to Filter > Sort > Date if messages appear out of order.
      • Check whether email forwarding is enabled.
      • Check whether any email rules are moving or hiding messages.

If the problem is with messages from one specific sender, ask that sender to review Sender Support in Outlook.com. If there is a non-delivery receipt, the exact reason in that message is the key investigation detail.
