Product key for my Microsoft Office

If Office 2024 was included with the Dell laptop and was never activated, the license was not associated with the Microsoft account. In that case, the usual reinstall and activation method from the Microsoft account may not work.

Try these checks:

1. Open Microsoft Store on the laptop.
2. Select Library.
3. Check whether there is an Included with this device section and whether Office is listed there.
4. Check the Dell purchase documentation or receipt to see whether a product key was provided with the Office license.

If Office was already redeemed previously, the product key is no longer needed. Install and activate by signing in with the Microsoft account used for redemption at Services & subscriptions: https://account.microsoft.com/services.

If a product key prompt appears and the Office purchase is already linked to the Microsoft account, sign in to the Office app with that same Microsoft account instead of entering a key.
