How do I get rid of Personal Vault??

What a frustrating system ... no wonder people migrate to Linux.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer provides an option to completely disable or remove Personal Vault from personal OneDrive accounts. However, you can leave it unused without affecting your regular OneDrive files. Could you please clarify a few details?

    Are you trying to completely remove the Personal Vault folder, or simply stop it from appearing and requesting verification? Is Personal Vault causing problems with file synchronization, or do you just prefer not to use the feature? Are you accessing Personal Vault through Windows File Explorer or the OneDrive website?

    If your files are currently stored inside Personal Vault, you can unlock it at https://onedrive.live.com, select the files, and move them into a regular OneDrive folder. Once the vault is empty, you can simply leave it unused.
