Hi,

Copilot in excel keeps saying I have reached the upper limit for today (roughly translated to English).

I haven been using copilot for days not in excel og online/the copilot app, but it still continues to say I have reached my limit?

The image is from the danish excel/copilot.

    Hi @Lasse Heggeland

I understand why this is confusing, especially if you have not used Copilot for several days.

Copilot in Excel may use a different allowance from the standalone Copilot app, and the applicable limit depends on your Microsoft 365 subscription. Please check that Excel is signed in with the account that owns the subscription, then review the AI usage or credit status under your Microsoft account’s Services & subscriptions section. AI benefits for Personal or Family subscriptions are available only to the subscription owner. See how AI usage and limits work.

If the account shows available usage but Excel continues displaying this message, try Excel for the web with the same account. If the same issue occurs there, it would be best to contact Microsoft Support so the account’s Copilot entitlement and usage status can be checked.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors cannot access accounts or Microsoft’s back-end systems. We can only provide technical guidance on reported incidents, requests and ideas

Thank you for your time and understanding
