My calls to Microsoft Support are dropped (disconnected)

I am administrator of a Small Business Microsoft 365 account. I am locked out of my account as I am not receiving verification codes to my phone. I have been trying for three days to contact Microsoft support but my calls are always dropped at various times during the call without me being able to issue a ticket. The first time I called I managed to talk to a representative and give my email details, then the call was dropped. After this the calls are dropped much faster. Of course no one calls me back.

I am not offered any alternative way to contact as I cannot login to my account.

As sole admin I cannot even cancel my subscription.

This is wrong in every way including legally.

    Hello,

I'm sorry you've had to deal with this for three days, especially after repeatedly being disconnected from support. I understand how frustrating this must be when you're the sole administrator.

Since phone support hasn't worked, you could try these alternatives:

1/ If your account is managed by a reseller, contact them to see if they can raise a support request on your behalf.

2/ As a last resort, create a temporary Microsoft 365 trial tenant to request assistance:

    • Visit Microsoft 365 Business Plans.
    • Choose a business plan and select Try free for one month.
    • Follow the registration steps to create a new administrator account.
    • Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center using the new account.
    • Go to Help & support > Contact Support and explain that you're the sole administrator of another tenant and cannot receive verification codes.
    • Request assistance with administrator account recovery from the Data Protection team.

Please note that the trial tenant will not restore access directly, and support availability may vary. Remember to cancel the trial avoid charges. I hope this provides another way forward.

    Best regards.
