If the signature option is missing or blank in work mail, use the Outlook on the web signature settings directly:

  1. Open Outlook on the web.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Go to Account > Signatures.
  4. Select +New signature.
  5. Enter a name for the signature.
  6. Type the signature in the editor box and format it if needed.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Set it as the default for New messages and Replies and forwards if required.

If composing a message and the signature does not insert automatically, add it manually from:

  • Insert > Your signature

For Outlook.com-style settings, the path can also appear as:

  • Settings > Account > Signatures > + Add signature

In Outlook on the web, signatures are created separately from desktop Outlook.
