    Hello Jodi Miller,

Could you clarify what you mean by changing the mouse direction?

If the pointer is entering the wrong monitor when you move it left or right, this is controlled by the display layout rather than the mouse settings. Right-click an empty area of the desktop, select Display settings, and use Identify to check which number belongs to each physical screen. Then drag the numbered displays so their relative positions match your actual setup, including any height difference between them, and select Apply.

If you instead mean that the mouse wheel scrolls content in the opposite direction, please let me know, as that uses a different setting under Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mouse.

You can also refer to Microsoft’s guide here: How to use multiple monitors in Windows

Please let me know which of these two behaviors you are experiencing. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

Besides lining up the monitor boxes to match your desk, a few details can still mess up cursor movement:

    • If one screen sits above the other (like a laptop below a desktop monitor), drag the boxes top-and-bottom in Display settings instead of side-by-side.
    • If your screens are different sizes, go to "Settings (Windows + I) > System > Display > Multiple displays" and check "Ease cursor movement between displays". This stops the mouse from catching on the uneven corners.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Open Settings > System > Display.

In Display settings, the monitors are shown as numbered boxes. Drag the monitor boxes so they match the physical left/right order of the screens, then select Apply.

If needed, use Identify first so the monitor numbers appear on each screen, then rearrange them. Once the layout matches the real monitor positions, the mouse will move in the correct direction between displays.
