Hi, Todd Gantzer
I’m sorry your conversations disappeared. The updated Copilot app is intended to bring eligible chats over automatically, but missing history can mean the move has not finished. I can’t inspect your account or confirm from this forum whether the chats are still stored or recoverable.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
Check Copilot for a“coming soon” message or a link to your previous chats. If that link appears, use it to access and save anything important that is still available.
If this is a personal Microsoft account, sign in to the Microsoft privacy dashboard. Go to Privacy > Empower your productivity > Copilot > Your Copilot app activity history > Copilot apps, then select Export all activity history. Review the downloaded CSV for your older conversations. This may help establish whether the activity is available to export, but it does not restore chats to the app. Do not select Delete all activity history.
Contact Microsoft Support and explain that the history is missing on both web and app despite the checks you’ve completed. Include the approximate upgrade date, any sync message, and whether the export contains the missing chats. Ask support to investigate the account’s migration and recoverability.
Also I wouldn’t recommend resetting or reinstalling the app as a recovery step.
