For a Microsoft personal account, the fastest path to a human is usually chat support through Get Help or the Contact Support flow.
- Open Get Help on the PC.
- It can be opened from Settings by pressing Windows key + I → System → Get Help.
- In Get Help, type a short description such as agent support or Contact Support.
- If self-help does not solve it, select Contact Support.
- Choose the affected product or service, then select Confirm.
- Choose one of these contact methods if offered:
- Chat with a support agent in your web browser
- Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you
Important details:
- Available contact options depend on hours of operation, product, scenario, and subscription.
- For Microsoft account sign-in issues, Microsoft also provides a sign-in helper tool that can identify common account problems.
- Microsoft support agents cannot send password reset links or change account details for account protection.
If the issue is specifically with an Outlook app, support is available inside the app at Settings > Help & Feedback > Contact Support. That button can be disabled if Connected Experiences is turned off for the Microsoft account or if an administrator disabled it.
