How can I cancel an account subscription that I am being charged for but cannot access because I no longer use it, cannot remember the user name, password or phone number for it?

If the subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft and the account can still be accessed, cancellation is done from https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 or https://account.microsoft.com/services by signing in with the Microsoft account used to buy it, then selecting Cancel subscription or Manage > Cancel.

If the account can’t be accessed because the username, password, or phone number is no longer available, the supported path is to contact Microsoft Accounts & Billing Support and ask them to help verify ownership and assist with cancellation. Use https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/, then enter Chat with an agent, choose Contact support, select the product and billing options, and follow the prompts to connect to a live agent or request a callback.

If the charge isn’t recognized, it can also be investigated from the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard.

If the subscription was purchased through Google Play, Apple App Store, or a third-party retailer such as Amazon, cancellation and refund requests must be handled through that seller instead of Microsoft.

Hello, I understand that you are trying to cancel your Microsoft 365 subscription but you do not have access to your account.

Have you tried the sign-in helper via aka.ms/sign-in-helper?

You can try the sign-in helper again if your account is not found. If you know your username and password, but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.

If you will really be unable to login or recover the account, the best option is to reach out to the bank and block any future transactions that is related to the Microsoft 365 subscription or have your card be replaced and this is to avoid any related charges in the future.
