Cannot sign in with password – "Password sign-in isn't available. Try another method"

Hi everyone,

I am trying to sign into my Microsoft account on my device, but I am unable to use my password.

I successfully reset my password using SMS verification sent to my phone number. However, when I try to log in with my new password, I keep getting the following error message:

The system constantly forces me to use the Microsoft Authenticator app, but I do not have access to the app for this account. Even though I can verify my identity via SMS to reset the password, it still does not allow password login.

How can I disable the passwordless requirement or bypass the Authenticator prompt using my registered phone number so I can sign in with my password?
