Microsoft Outlook: Email isn't being sent to receiver

I send an email to a correctly typed out email address and Outlook shows me the email has been sent. The receiver however doesn't receive the message. I received an email from them and double checked the addresses and they're the same. I'm not really sure what to and now I don’t know how many of my sent emails have actually gone through.

Any ideas on what could be wrong or how to fix this?

    Welcome Faris,

Thank you for explaining the issue. Since the message appears in “Sent Items” but the recipient does not receive it, I’d like to narrow down whether this is happening with one recipient or with outgoing mail more generally.

    First, could you confirm:

    • Are you sending from a personal Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live Microsoft account, rather than a work or school account?
    • Does this happen only when emailing this particular recipient, or have you confirmed it with several different recipients?
    • Are you receiving any delivery failure/undeliverable message after sending?

As a quick test, please send a new, simple email without an attachment or signature to another personal email address you can access. Then check whether that message arrives, including the recipient account’s “Junk Email” or spam folder.

    Looking forward to your update.
