This is the second time I've lost my "taxes" folders.

    Welcome Frances Downey,

I’m sorry to hear that your Taxes folders have disappeared again. Since you’re using Outlook on the web, I’d like to first determine whether the folders are actually missing or simply not displaying.

    Could you please confirm:

    • Is the affected account a personal Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live account, rather than a work or school account?
    • If you expand all folders and subfolders in the left folder pane, are the Taxes folders still absent?
    • Are the missing folders visible under“Deleted Items”?

In the meantime, please try signing out of Outlook.com, clearing your browser cache, closing all browser windows, and then signing back in at Outlook.com. Microsoft specifically recommends these steps when folders aren't visible in the folder pane. Working with message folders in Outlook.com

If the folders or their messages were accidentally deleted, also open Deleted Items and check Recover items deleted from this folder for recoverable content. Recover and restore deleted items in Outlook.

    Looking forward to your update.
