Hi,

MS Update returns the message "one or more apps found errors" (in Portuguese).

There is no instructions on what to do and the Comunities do not have the answer either.

Some people are reporting this error with the Microsoft updater tool producing that error or continually looping.

Download the latest version of the Microsoft Updater Tool from this link and try using that to resolve the problem.

    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=830196

If that does not resolve the problem, at the top left of your Mac desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?

On macOS, this error is commonly caused by Microsoft AutoUpdate itself being outdated, damaged, missing background permission, or blocked by permissions.

    Try this in order:

    1. Close all Office apps.
    2. Reinstall Microsoft AutoUpdate.
      • Download and install the latest Microsoft AutoUpdate package.
      • This is the recommended fix when MAU shows errors caused by missing helper files or incorrect permissions.
    3. Make sure AutoUpdate is allowed to run in the background.
      • Open System Settings.
      • Go to General > Login Items & Extensions.
      • Under Allow in the Background, turn on Microsoft AutoUpdate.
      • If Microsoft AutoUpdate is missing, reinstall it again.
    4. Run updates again.
      • Open any Office app.
      • Select Help > Check for Updates.
      • In Microsoft AutoUpdate, review the available updates and select Update All or update individual apps.
    5. If Office was installed from microsoft.com, update from Microsoft AutoUpdate directly.
      • Open Finder > Applications > Microsoft AutoUpdate.
      • If MAU is not there, check: /Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MAU2.0/
    6. If Office apps were installed from the Mac App Store, update them from the App Store instead.
      • Open App Store > Updates.
      • Update Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, or select Update All.
    7. If the device is managed by an organization and software installation is blocked, contact the IT administrator or Helpdesk.

If the update process hangs, installing the latest version of Microsoft AutoUpdate manually is the documented fix.
