My Microsoft 365 Developer Program subscription expired on Feb 27, 2024 and was deleted. I deleted my profile and rejoined the program, but the dashboard still shows the old expired subscription and does not offer an option to set up a new E5 sandbox. More than 60 days have passed. Please reset my profile so I can provision a new instant sandbox.

    Hi,

I understand that you have already deleted your Developer Program profile and rejoined, but your dashboard still shows the expired subscription without an option to create a new sandbox.

I cannot reset your profile or remove the old subscription entry from this forum because I do not have access to Microsoft’s internal account systems.

Microsoft’s Developer Program FAQ states that qualified members can obtain a replacement subscription, subject to having held their current subscription for more than 60 days. This is not a promise that a new sandbox option will appear 60 days after deletion. Deleting and recreating your profile does not remove the requirement to qualify for a new sandbox.

The next step is to check which current eligibility path applies to your account. Microsoft lists eligible Visual Studio Professional or Enterprise standard subscriptions, qualifying ISV Success or Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program membership, and companies with Premier or Unified Support contracts. See the current eligibility requirements.

    • If you qualify through Visual Studio, sign in to Visual Studio benefits with the account assigned to your active subscription and access the Microsoft 365 Developer Program benefit. If you cannot access or activate that benefit, contact Visual Studio Subscription Support for help checking it. This does not guarantee a Developer Program profile reset.
    • If you qualify through ISV Success or an eligible partner membership, use the associated corporate email for the Developer Program eligibility process. For Premier or Unified Support customers, Microsoft directs you to your Microsoft support contact to request the sandbox.

Could you confirm which of these eligibility paths applies to you, and whether the dashboard shows any eligibility message besides the expired subscription? You can share a screenshot with your email address and any personal information hidden.

The old subscription entry alone does not establish whether the problem is eligibility-related or an issue with your dashboard.
