    Hi!

    Please answer the questions below:

Did the problem occur while uploading a specific file, or did it simply freeze out of nowhere?

If possible, try disconnecting and reconnecting your OneDrive account. Click the OneDrive icon, then the gear icon > Settings > Account > Unlink this PC. It may take a little while to unlink everything. Afterward, restart and reconnect the account.

It is also important to check that everything is fine with your account. Go to https://onedrive.live.com/

    Try these checks in order:

    1. Check whether OneDrive is actually running.
      • On Windows, a white or blue OneDrive cloud icon should appear in the notification area at the far right of the taskbar.
      • If it is not visible, select Start, type OneDrive, and open it.
    2. Look for hidden or temporary files in the OneDrive folder.
      • Hidden or temporary files can make files or folders appear to stay in a syncing state.
      • In File Explorer, show hidden files and folders, then remove hidden files and folders that are not associated with files currently being edited.
      • If temporary Office files are involved, close open Office files and clear the Office document cache.
      • Warning: deleting temporary Office files can cause data loss if the files are still needed.
    3. If OneDrive shows Sync pending but no file is visible:
      • In File Explorer, go to View and enable Hidden items.
      • If no hidden file appears, create a new folder, copy all files from the stuck folder into the new folder, and then delete the old sync-pending folder.
    4. If TMP files are stuck:
      • Rename the file and give it a new extension, move it out of OneDrive, upload it manually to onedrive.com, or delete it.
      • Warning: do not delete TMP files unless it is certain they are no longer in use, or unsaved work may be lost.
    5. If the taskbar icon is stuck on Sync pending:
      • Delete the Office Document Cache.
    6. Make sure the OneDrive app is up to date.
      • Install the latest OneDrive app if needed.

If the icon keeps showing uploading at 0%, the most likely causes in the available guidance are hidden files, temporary files, Office cache issues, or OneDrive not running correctly.
