I am watching the copilot migration taking over a week and still waiting for it's completion. It seems something has either stopped on its own getting stuck. If it needs something to get moving, I don't know what it would be. I am a personal user and frequently use co-pilot on my android phone for finding information I need

Hi Gary,

Thanks for explaining what’s happening. I understand why you’re concerned after the migration has remained incomplete for more than a week, especially since you regularly use Copilot on your Android phone.

Your chats and other eligible content should move automatically to the updated Copilot app. The completion time can vary depending on the amount and type of content being moved.

Please try the following:

  1. Make sure you have the updated Copilot app from the Google Play Store. On some devices, it may appear as a separate installation rather than a regular update.
  2. Confirm that you’re signed in with the same personal account and sign-in method you used previously. If you used Continue with Google or Continue with Apple, select that same option again.
  3. Fully close Copilot and reopen it.
  4. Follow any migration message shown in the app. If available, it may include a link for accessing your previous chats while the transfer continues.

You can continue using Copilot during the migration. Most eligible content should transfer, although content associated with retired features may be handled differently.

I hope your previous conversations become available again soon.

Best regards.
