Hello, I have decided to buy Microsoft Teams, and I use school email to register, I have followed the procedure and then I paid with my credit card , I also see from the bank that the subscription is valid and some money is deducted. However, when I try to login to use the service, it says that the system is locked by the school and I am not able to find CS service by all means at all. Even I call the local Microsoft Office they say please find CS online! I have contact the school and they say I should ask Microsoft to cancel the subscription.

Therefore please cancel my subscription and free trial by October immediately. How could I get connected to a real CS person?

I try to connect a technical support by all means not feedback.

Thank you

    Hello R,

Could you please confirm whether you can access the Microsoft 365 admin center using the account that was used to purchase the subscription?

If you can sign in, please go to Billing > Your products, locate the subscription, and follow the official Microsoft instructions below to cancel it or turn off recurring billing: Cancel your Microsoft business subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center | Microsoft Learn

If you cannot access the Admin Center because the account is managed or blocked by the school, please contact the school’s IT administrator. Since the subscription was purchased through an account in the school’s tenant, an administrator with the appropriate billing permissions can locate the self-service purchase, take control of it, and cancel it through Billing > Your products > Self-service.

You can share this official guidance with the administrator: Manage self-service purchases and trials (for admins) | Microsoft Learn

If you also want to request a refund, please ask the school’s IT administrator to open a support ticket through Help & support in the Microsoft 365 admin center and request assistance from the Billing Support team. Please note that cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund. Eligibility depends on the billing agreement, purchase or renewal date, region, and subscription terms.

If the school cannot assist or open a ticket, you can contact Microsoft directly through the regional numbers listed here: Customer service phone numbers | Microsoft Support

When you call the support number, you may hear an introduction of about 30 seconds such as "you can visit the link...". You can ignore this introduction and wait until you are presented with the options. Then press "1" as a business email user, and again "1" for technical help.

I also recommend calling during business hours. In my experience, it can be difficult to get through to the correct support queue, and automated systems don't always work as expected. If you can't get through on your first try, I suggest trying again later or at a different time.

Please explain that the subscription is linked to a blocked school account and that you need help cancelling it and reviewing refund eligibility.

    Kind regards,

Microsoft support cannot cancel a subscription directly from this chat.

If the subscription was bought directly from Microsoft, check where it is managed first:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft subscriptions page at https://account.microsoft.com/services with the same account used to buy the subscription.
    2. Find the Microsoft 365 or Teams-related subscription.
    3. If Manage, Cancel, or Change payment appears, the subscription is billed by Microsoft and can be managed there.
    4. If those options are missing or limited, the subscription may be managed by a third party, and billing changes must be handled with that provider.

Because the sign-in is blocked by the school, this is likely tied to a work or school account. For work or school accounts:

    • Technical support should go through the organization’s IT helpdesk, service desk, or admin.
    • If an admin for the subscription is available, they can contact Microsoft 365 admin support from the admin side.

To reach a real Microsoft support person for billing or subscription help:

    1. Go to the Microsoft support contact page.
    2. Use Get Help and describe the issue as a billing or subscription problem.
    3. For Microsoft 365 subscription issues, use the contact flow for Microsoft 365 and Manage my subscription.
    4. If chat is offered, choose the option to chat with a support agent in the browser.

If the subscription charge does not appear under the account that can sign in, support guidance in similar cases is to contact Microsoft through the billing/contact flow above. If the charge still cannot be located under any accessible account, the bank can open a dispute for unauthorized or inaccessible charges.
