    Welcome William Rogers,

I understand you’ve reinstalled Windows 11 and now can’t sign in, and you’d prefer to speak directly with Microsoft Support.

You can follow the detailed instructions below to reach out to Live chat support:

    • Visit the Microsoft Support contact page: Contact - Microsoft Support
    • In the search bar provided on the page, type "cannot sign in my account" and press Enter.
    • Click on Ask our Support Assistant
    • When the box appears, type " I want to talk to Live chat agent"
    • After that, click Contact support
    • When prompted to select your product or service, choose "Other Products".
    • For the category, choose "Manage account security".
    • Look for and click on "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".
    • Explain your situation clearly: Be concise but provide all the relevant details.

Use Microsoft’s sign-in helper tool first. It checks the email address or phone number tied to the Microsoft account and tells what action is needed if it detects an account problem.

If help from a person is still needed, go to Contact Microsoft Support, enter the problem, select Get Help, and then select Contact Support to be routed to the best support option.

Important: Microsoft support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or access and change account details.

If the issue is Windows activation after reinstalling Windows 11:

    1. Open Start > Settings > System > Activation.
    2. If there is no digital license, select Change Product Key and enter the same Windows 11 product key used before the hardware change or reinstall.
    3. If there is no product key or digital license, select Go to Store from Activation to purchase a Windows 11 digital license.
    4. If activation still fails, contact customer support.
