Here's a quick summary of the conversation:
The user encounters an issue where Outlook/Hotmail labels their own email address as "John" instead of their correct name "Joe" or "Joseph Moloney" when CC'ing themselves. Despite their Microsoft account and sent emails correctly showing "Joseph Moloney," Outlook's recipient-suggestion data still associates the incorrect name "John" with their email address. Various troubleshooting steps confirmed the problem stems from Outlook's suggested-recipient system, not from contacts or account settings.
The discussion concludes that the incorrect "John" label is a cached recipient name maintained by Microsoft's recipient-suggestion service, which cannot be individually deleted in recent Outlook versions. The displayed name does not affect email delivery, and the user is advised on options to reset or ignore this cosmetic issue, alongside how to share the conversation with Microsoft support for further help.

That is correct. But you can export your Suggested People to a CSV, save any you want to keep as Contacts, and then clear the entire Suggested People cache.
