So that I can help you with your question, please can you answer the following:

Is this a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?

Did you backup your Microsoft Authenticator app?

If you are stuck on a sign-in request that has sent a code to the Microsoft Authenticator app. Please sign into the Authenticator app and swipe down on the main page (listing all of your connected accounts). Does this show the notification window asking you to verify the code?
