Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
If the order history shows Refunded or the refund was issued, but the money has still not reached the payment method after several weeks, the next step is to contact Microsoft Support.
Use one of these support paths:
- Go to Contact Microsoft Support.
- Enter the billing or refund issue and select Get Help.
- If self-help does not resolve it, select Contact Support to be routed to the best support option.
Also check the refund status here before contacting support:
- Open the Microsoft account Order history page: Open Order history
- Find the Microsoft 365 Family purchase.
- Confirm it shows the refund status.
Relevant details from Microsoft support content:
- If Microsoft has issued the refund but the payment provider has not credited it yet, banks can still take a few days to process it.
- Since several weeks have already passed, contacting Microsoft Support is appropriate.
- If the charge is unrecognized or there is concern about payment misuse, review it on the Manage your payments page.
- If payment information may have been compromised, contact the bank or payment provider to prevent additional charges.
