Earlier, i was able to list MPN and Azure Sponsorship under Subscriptions in Azure Portal. now, MPN is not listed there, what could be the reason?

    The most likely reasons are:

    1. Wrong directory selected in Azure portal
If the account is signed in to a different Microsoft Entra tenant, the subscription list can change and MPN-backed subscriptions may no longer appear. In Azure portal, select the account in the top-right corner and use Switch directory to check the correct directory.
    2. Permissions were removed or changed
A subscription won’t appear if the account no longer has sufficient access. If the correct directory is already selected and MPN still does not show, check whether the account still has RBAC access to that subscription. The documented fix is to assign the Owner role to the account.
    3. Portal subscription visibility/filter issue
If a subscription is missing from the Subscriptions blade, first confirm the correct tenant is selected. The portal documentation also notes that if no subscriptions appear, switching directories may be required to show subscriptions from another tenant.
    4. Partner/customer management scenario
For Azure plan and partner-managed customer resources, visibility can depend on how access was granted. If access was through AOBO or Azure Lighthouse, the PartnerID association and access model affect whether the subscription is manageable and visible under the current credentials.

    A practical check path is:

    1. Sign in to Azure portal.
    2. Open the account menu at the top-right.
    3. Select Switch directory and verify the tenant where MPN was previously visible.
    4. Go to Subscriptions and check whether MPN appears.
    5. If it still does not appear, verify that the account still has access to that subscription. If needed, have an existing owner reassign access.

If the subscription is still missing after confirming the correct directory and access, create a support request.
