If the goal is a Microsoft Learn module assessment, sign in and open the module page. The assessment appears as Module assessment or Take the module assessment on the module outline. After answering all questions correctly, a pass designation is earned on the profile.
If the goal is a Microsoft Certification Practice Assessment, not every exam has one. When available, it is found on the exam details page in the Schedule exam section. The flow is:
- Go to the Certification/Exam details page.
- Select the free Practice Assessment if it is available.
- Sign in with a Microsoft account if prompted.
- Complete the practice questions and review the score report.
If no test appears, these are the supported reasons from the documentation:
- Not all Microsoft Certification exams have free Practice Assessments.
- For some learning content, the assessment is only available inside the module page as a module assessment.
- For some programs, there is no separate scheduled assessment. For example, the Microsoft Essentials Professional Certificate assessment is available immediately after completing the course, and it is not proctored.
If the issue is specifically that a Practice Assessment should exist but does not load or is missing, use the Practice Assessment Feedback Form to report the technical issue.
