A free app and service that helps families create healthy digital habits and stay connected. It’s designed to support both online safety and real-world awareness by offering tools for screen time management, content filtering, and location sharing
Try these steps in order:
- Stop requesting more codes for now. Repeated requests can trigger a temporary block. Wait at least 24 hours before trying again, and if it still does not clear, wait longer — up to 1 week. Do not keep retrying during that time.
- Use another verification method if one is already connected to the Microsoft account. For example, if email is blocked, try another method such as a different email, phone, face, fingerprint, PIN, security key, or approval through a mobile app when available.
- Try a different network. Switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data, or use another Wi‑Fi network.
- Try another device to sign in.
- If the Family Safety app is the only place showing the issue, update or reinstall the app and then try again.
- Use the Microsoft Sign-in helper to identify the sign-in problem and available support options: Sign-in helper
- If needed, contact Microsoft Support through: Contact Support
Important:
- Support agents cannot send verification codes or change account details.
- If prompted to verify or add security info, complete that process before signing in again.
- Avoid changing all security info at the same time, because that can restrict the account for 30 days.
