For Microsoft Learn course completion issues, the supported path is to contact Microsoft Learn Credentials Support.
If the course progress is changing or chapters appear incomplete, these self-checks can help before escalating:
- Use the Continue button at the bottom of each unit, not the Next button in the upper-right corner. This helps completion register correctly.
- Sign out of Microsoft Learn, clear the browser cache, and sign in again.
- Verify every unit is marked Completed, including knowledge checks, exercises, or optional items shown in the course.
- Try a different browser or device.
- Check whether browser extensions or pop-up blockers are interfering.
For Copilot labs specifically, one Microsoft 365 Copilot course states that students must have:
- access to a Microsoft 365 subscription where they are licensed to use Microsoft 365 Copilot
- a Microsoft OneDrive account, because Copilot requires OneDrive for file-sharing tasks used in the exercises
That means missing a Copilot license can affect completion of lab-based exercises in that course.
If the issue is still not resolved, submit a support ticket through the Microsoft Learn Credentials Support page.
