It is not possible to transfer certifications between Learn profiles or recover certifications from a Learn profile that is no longer accessible.
Access to a Learn profile and its credentials requires sign-in with at least one valid login account already connected to that profile. If access to the original personal Microsoft account is lost and no alternate account was added, the profile data cannot be restored or transferred. Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover personal Microsoft accounts and cannot transfer or restore the contents of an inaccessible Learn profile.
If the certification is missing because it exists under a different Learn profile, the supported checks are:
- Sign in with any other login accounts that may have been used when registering for the exam, including a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account.
- Confirm the certification was earned under the expected profile.
- If the credential is visible under another accessible profile, use the supported profile merge process only when the merge requirements are met.
Profile merge is self-service and is only supported when only one of the profiles contains a personal Microsoft login account. During merge, learning progress, credentials, and transcripts are combined, and the merge cannot be undone.
If access to the university account is permanently lost, there is no supported manual transfer path described for moving the AZ-900 certification to a different account.
